Work to build the perimeter pathway at Chelford Activity Park has finally started. The good weather over the past few days has meant that progress has been good and the new pathway should be finished in the coming weeks.
The pathway is the first part of Phase 2 of the refurbishment of the site. Shortly, trim trail and gym equipment will also be installed.
You may spot that existing benches, a picnic table and a cycle rack will be relocated within the Park to enable the pathway to be delivered.
Further work will also be taking place to provide better surfacing around the table tennis table.
The Parish Council is also currently considering options to improve the bike track. More information about this project will be available at a future date.
